Installation Guide

Detach the stereo receiver, verify whether the 12pin socket of the receiver is occupied. If not occupied, directly plug in the music changer, else remove the harness and plug in the Y split harness, connect original harness and music changer to the two end sockets. Power on the car/stereo, press ‘DISC/CD/DISC-AUX’ button one or twice to enable music changer, blue LED will light up. Pair mobile devices with Bluetooth name ‘OPERA’ for the first time. After paired, play music on phone. Inserting a USB stick will automatically play music from the stick. Press Prev/Next to switch songs or connect/handup incoming calls, press DISC+/DISC- to switch folders. Press ‘RPT’ button to switch audio source (Bluetooth/USB Stick/AUX).

The music changer is recommended to be placed in the glove box in front of the co-pilot. The microphone is suggested to install on ceiling nearby rear-view mirror by wiring along the A-pillar.

Bluetooth Play Back Tips

It is suggested to play lossless music via APP for optimal music quality.

USB Stick Usage Guide

To ensure normal playback from USB stick, please follow below steps: 

1. Re-format USB stick for the first time, choose exFAT format for large-capacity USB stick (32GB or above) or FAT32 for other USB stick, set allocation unit size to 2048KB or above; This will avoid un-smooth playback of lossless songs.

2. Create folders such as 01, 02, 03... all songs need to be put into the folders, each folder should not store more than 99 songs.

3. Only stores specified music format files in USB stick, such as APE, FLAC, WAV and MP3; Delete all other formats else it might affect playback.

Uncompatible Car Models:

1. Models with HDD or original USB playback are not supported, including but not limited to:

• 12th Crown 184 with HDD (Japan Model)
• GS300 with HDD (GS300 without HDD will work)
• ES240 with USB (ES240 without USB will work)

2. Models without socket are not supported:

• Corrola with 6 Disc (2008+) (model prior to 2008 has socket)
• RAV4 (Premium Version without Navigation)

3. Models just not compatible:

• Camry Head Unit by Panasonic
• RX350 (Triangle Shape)

Other Compatibility Notes:

② Camry & Highlander does not support steer wheel control via music changer; Volumn control and Panel control still works.

③ ‘Sienna’ with back seat DVD will have no sound while playing DVD; 

③ Original external CD changer (located in passenger cabin or rear trunk) has to be given up;
