1980s does 1920s with this incredible vintage wool drop waist sweater dress by Outlander tagged size Medium. See pic & below for fit. 70% lambswool 20% angora rabbit hair 10% nylon.
Deep v-neck with wide collar. Long ribbon neck tie attached by thin loops under lapel, could tie into pussy bow too. No pockets, buttons, or zippers. Ruched pleated a-line swing skirt at dropwaist seam, see below to check where this waist falls on your body. Shoulder pads sewn in, could be cut.
Very good preloved vintage condition overall with gentle signs of age. Small marks on ribbon. Small holes including on left front, back left sleeve by shoulder, under lapel. Fabric thinning in few places. Needs dry cleaning, which might remove marks - I have not tried to clean this professionally. Unlined. Super soft, slightly stretchy. Sold as is, ask if you need more info/pix.
