Exceptionally fine condition and superbly detailed OFFICER cap badge of the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps (RCASC). Multi-piece construction with nickled star back-piece with separately applied enamelled, dead-gilt and burnished highlights overlay. Red enameled, separate, inner centre. Maker marked "SCULLY.LTD.MONTREAL." Cap badge measures 47 mm (1 7/8 inches) high X 42 mm (1 5/8 inches) wide.  Two screw posts with threaded retaining wheels present on reverse of badge for attachment.  Images are of the actual item and comprise part of the description.  Harder to find OFFICER badge of this period and especially so in this first-class condition. A stunning example of the exquisite quality of Officer insignia of this period.
