In the early 2000s, Bandai brought back to retail stores the iconic American Greetings characters from the Strawberry Shortcake universe to coincide with a release of their new cartoon by DIC Entertainment. The dolls were very reminiscent of the classic originals, with new outfits, new features, even some new characters, while still being the scented dolls we all remembered. This auction is for the Bandai Strawberry Shortcake ~ Talkin' Giggle Friends ~ Cheer Days with DVD. The doll is brand new in it's original packaging which has some shelf wear as seen in the pictures, but the pull tab for the talking feature is still inserted, so it has never been activated (it still might need new batteries after 20 years)
