An interesting vintage unframed watercolour (possibly in gouache because of the strength of colour) by an unknown artist of an unknown gateway. Nevertheless the piece definitely has some merit, a certain quality by a reasonably gifted hand and the colours used are hot, rich and exotic. A glimpse of North Africa, Mediterranean or Middle Eastern? It would be helpful if somebody out there recognises it.

 

In good vintage condition.
