Around the end of the Edo period, "Gabimaru", who was once feared as the strongest shinobi, was captured as a criminal. Meanwhile, "Yamada Asaemon Sagiri", the executioner, tells him that if he brings back the "immortality elixir" from the island rumored to be the paradise, he will be acquitted and no one will ever chase him again. "Gabimaru" chooses the path of searching for herbal medicine in order to "see his beloved wife again". Gabimaru
One of the main characters of this work. "Gabimaru" is the trade name that indicates the head of Ishigakure no Sato, not his real name. His nickname is Garan no "Gabimaru", which means a "empty" human being without blood or tears.The first person is "Washi". It features a petite body and white hair. Yamada Asaemon Sakiri
