Here we have a nice example of an extremely rare tunic for the Nasjonal Samling. The Nasjonal Samling was the movement of Norway from 1933 until the end of 1945. The party and its members helped government the occupied government of Norway following the German invasion of Norway in 1940. The group had a peak of 44,000 members in 1943 and was lead by Vidkun Quisling, who was sentenced to death following his roles in 1945. Tunic is produced in black wool, with the party's armband neatly hand sewn onto the sleeve. Armband designates a basic male member, and is not the militant branch of the organization. In extremely good condition on the exterior, with minimal signs of age and mothing throughout. Interior lining shows minor signs of use as well, most notably one sleeve lining being water stained. Tailor label on the interior for NS Riksdepot, the officially tailor for the Nasjonal Samling. Surely there aren't many surviving examples of this tunic around, so definitely don't miss out!
