Bobs Watson Handwritten Signed Letter Child Actor. Letter reads:

Dear David

Thank you so very much for your invitation to the Fourth Annual American Cinema Awards. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed it and how very impressed I was to see how you carried out the whole evening with such thoughtfulness. Your personal efforts made me feel very much a part of the evening.

How very much people like me appreciate people like you. I gave a great portion of my life to the film industry because I have always loved it. There are many like me who have faded from view but are still remembered by special people like you who are aware of what we contributed. To be remembered and honored at such a fine occasion, as the other night, with so many of my peers with whom I have worked or have deeply respected truly warmed my heart.

Roddy McDowall and I never worked together and the other night was the first time we ever met, and yet in our brief meeting I think we both felt that ‘two old friends’ had been reunited. For that ‘brief meeting’ alone, and for all the rest… thank you! God bless you David!!

Keep up the good work -

The real Hollywood needs you -

With grateful appreciation
