Description: Reis rondom de weereldt, gedaen op bevel des konings von Frankrijk, in de jaren 1766 tot 1769. Author: Le Comte Louis-Antoine de Bougainville. Publisher: Dordrecht: A. Blusse en Zoon, 1772.

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'A. van Krevelt' after an anonymous artist. Abram van Krevelt (1732-1784) was a Dutch engraver of maps and characters, active in Amsterdam.

Subject: Antique print, titled: 'Eerste Verdeeling gevaerlyke Archipel lage en verdronken landen.' - This plate shows the map of First Division Dangerous Archipelago low and drowned countries, with Akiaki. Pacific ocean.

Condition: Very good, given age. Orginal folds as issued. Margins cropped close to the plate mark. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Size (in cm): The overall size is ca. 30 x 20.1 cm. The image size is ca. 24 x 14.4 cm.
Size (in inch): The overall size is ca. 11.8 x 7.9 inch. The image size is ca. 9.4 x 5.7 inch.
