Artists and Engravers: Alexandre Vuillemin (1812-1880) was a cartographer and an book editor based in Paris, France. Despite a prolific cartographic career, much of Vuillemin's life is shrouded in mystery.

Subject: Map 68: 'Rhone.' (The Rhone department, France). Including view of Lugdunum (Lyon), a Roman soldier and the Rhone river, and portraits of Ampere (b. 1775) and Jacquart (b. 1752).
Condition: Excellent given age. General age related toning. Please study scan carefully.
