What is Ascorbic
Acid?
Ascorbic Acid is a natural water-soluble vitamin (Vitamin C)
which is naturally present in some foods and is available as a dietary
supplement. Found in citrus, other
fruits, and in vegetables, vitamin C cannot be produced or stored by humans and
must be obtained in the diet.
Vitamin C is important for bones and connective tissues, muscles,
and blood vessels. Vitamin C also helps
the body absorb iron, which is needed for red blood cell production. Ascorbic acid is used to treat and prevent
vitamin C deficiency.
Ascorbic Acid is a potent antioxidant agent that functions in
fighting bacterial infections, in detoxifying reactions, and in the formation
of collagen in fibrous tissue, teeth, bones, connective tissue, skin, and
capillaries.
Before
taking Ascorbic Acid:
You should not use Ascorbic Acid if you have ever had an
allergic reaction to a vitamin C supplement.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist about using Ascorbic Acid if you
have:
- Kidney disease or a history of kidney stones;
- Hereditary iron overload disorder (hemochromatosis); or
- If you smoke (smoking can make Ascorbic Acid less effective).
Your dose needs may be different during pregnancy or while you are
breast-feeding a baby. Do not use Ascorbic
Acid without your doctor's advice in either case.

professionally prescribed.

Suggested
Use:
Adult - Mix 1g (1/3 tsp) once to 3 times a day in water or juice. At the onset of cold symptoms the dose may be

RETURNS POLICY
If you have made a purchase and need to return it for
whatever reason, we will happily refund the amount for the goods minus any
postage costs incurred by the seller (even if you make a purchase with free
delivery, there will always be a postage cost to the seller). Once the package has been returned in its
original condition we will then proceed with a partial refund. Return freight is at the expense of the
BUYER. Returns are accepted within 30

Returned products MUST be sent to us unopened and unused

How is this product
packaged?
This product is supplied in resealable stand up
pouches. Therefore, if you select a
quantity of 5kg, you will receive either 5 bags of 1kg each or 2 bags of 2kg
and 1 bag of 1kg. Orders of 10kg or more
will be packed in a food grade plastic bag and fastened with a zip tie.
