WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS?
Essential oils are compounds extracted from plants. The oils capture the "essence" of the plant's scent. Most often essential oils are obtained through distillation or mechanical cold pressing. After the aromatic compounds have been extracted, they are combined with a carrier oil to create a usable product.
How the oils are made is important. Essential oils obtained through chemical processes are not considered true essential oils. Sun Essentials does NOT use chemical processes.
