Vintage Samsonite Shwayder Saddle Tan Hardshell Suitcase Denver,CO USA 1940s,50s.

Who else loves to use old suitcases for storage and display? I have a hard time not picking these up at estate sales,  especially when the hardware is brass and the color is good.  The model number is 4655 on this vintage Samsonite caramel treasure. Please see all the pictures for the best description. There is a lock but no key,  the latches work great, both inside and out. One tie strap is missing.  There are scrapes and scratches and I tried to get pictures of all the evident blemishes. The outside has been washed thoroughly and I did apply a Mink oil cream protectant over the exterior. Surprisingly There are no strong musty odors inside. There are a few stains on the lining , and it looks to be toothpaste or face cream.
