For your consideration is this very nice large well-formed brown 

P a r i s i t e - (C e) crystal from the Snowbird mine, Fish Creek, Alberton, Mineral County, Montana USA. The Snowbird mine, which exploits an REE-rich carbonatite dike, is one of the classic worldwide localities for P a r i s i t e - (C e). Recently, I was able to obtain a group of exceptional specimens of this unusual REE species directly from the person that collected them. Most parisite crystals at this locality are <2 cm., this is an excellent large (6.2 cm) specimen of this species for this mine! Rare!!
