Description: Source unknown, to be determined. It was published by van Merlen in c. 1680.

Artists and Engravers: Engraver: Israel Silvestre. Israel Silvestre (Nancy 1621 - Paris 1691) was a prolific French draughtsman, etcher and print dealer who specialised in topographical views and architectural plates. He was orphaned at a young age, and taken in by his uncle Israel Henriet, a Paris-based print dealer, and friend of Jacques Callot. Publisher: van Merlen. Cornelis van Merlen (1654-1723) was an engraver and publisher.

Subject: Original antique print, titled: 'Sainct Laurens de Veniz'. It shows: the San Lorenzo church in Venice. Within a circular border.

Condition: Excellent, given age. General age-related light toning and/or staining from handling. Please study scan carefully
