FIGURE OF A LODGED STAG, (lying down), height 7 inches, length 6 inches. His red coat has the dappled spots of the English fallow deer.       On a grassy mound.

Pottery, Enoch Wood type.

Made in Staffordshire 1815-1830 Georgian period.

 

Condition: restoration to antlers and ear. Nibbles to rim of base
