(London): Blackie and Son, n.d. [c1921]. Later edition. Illustrated with colour frontispiece after H M Brock, and b/w woodcuts in the text. Publisher's decorative blind-stamped green cloth binding. Prize bookplate (colour printed by SPCK) dated 1921 to front pastedown with manuscript insertions. Size: small 8vo (17.7cm x 12.4cm).

Condition - VG to Near Fine binding / Good internally. Light age-toning to spine, and minor rubbing to corners, but otherwise the binding is well-preserved. Some spotting to fore-edges of text block (pages themselves only slightly affected). Minor foxing to title page and a couple of early leaves.  Blank endpapers somewhat age-toned. A few of the woodcuts have been hand-coloured in a juvenile hand, to quite an acceptable standard. Please ask if you require a more detailed condition report, or view gallery images closely.
