PAINTINGS ARE MAINLY STAINED AND / OR FRACTURED - PLEASE SEE IMAGES -

Nine 19th century Chinese paintings on pith related to tea production and drinking, in a partial album.

Fair only condition. A (quite pale) stain runs through the album, affecting the paintings in varying degrees. The pith on most of the paintings has fractured, with occasional loss. The cracks only run into the printed area in a few cases. Please ask if you require a more detailed condition report, or view gallery images closely.

An imperfect and incomplete album, in its original (worn) silk brocade covers. Contains 9 (of 12) paintings, some of which are still attractive enough to fill a gap in a collection, as reference pieces perhaps. One or two are still suitable for display. The others have fractured to varying degrees, with loss in a few places, and pieces of pith no longer connected together (and loose in some cases).
