A fabulous, possibly unique, example of this famous print, with many more WW2 airmen signatures than usual, the most prestigious being that of famous American fighter pilot Robin Olds.

Simon Atack's powerful artwork shows Robin Olds flying his P-51D Mustang as he achieves his last air victory of WWII. Flying 'Scat VII' he is seen bringing down a Me109 G10 high over Germany in the late spring of 1945 while flying escort to B-17s bombers of the 381st Bomb Group.

From the standard edition of 500 copies, the print was initially hand-signed by both much-admired aviation artist Simon Atack and airman Robin Olds. The collector has then seemingly taken the print to one of the reunion events for airmen in the early 2000s, where he has acquired a further 12 airmen signatures, making this particular print unique. Rather than naming them all individually, we are showing high-res images of the signatures (many with squadron numbers alongside).

The print has been sent to the collector in question directly by Simon Atack, with a hand-written letter, which is included with the print. Simon has also further personalised the print for them with a small pencil remarque above his signature on the print.

Provenance: from a single private collection of multi-signed aviation prints.
