This is a charming large and original watercolour by much-loved animal artist Warwick Higgs. We acquired this painting directly from Solomon & Whitehead, when they closed the doors in the early 2000s. They had reproduced the painting as an unsigned lithographic fine art print, and sold large quantities of it to an ever-increasing band of Warwick Higgs admirers, who were seduced by the charm and humour that the artist brought to his animal subjects.
