E.C.4).  Illustrated with tinted frontispiece portrait (after a caricature of the author), and one other full-page tinted plate (after a drawing of Cunninghame Graham). Red quarter crushed morocco binding over yellow papered boards ('Bound by S. & S. London'), with gilt lettering to spine. Fore- and bottom edges of text block untrimmed as published. Size: small 8vo (19.3cm x 13.2cm).
