A large original engraved map, on two folding sheets. Each with original stub verso (from an atlas). Versos blank. Publishing details in lower margin 'Drawn & Engraved for Thomson's New General Atlas'. No date but likely from an 1815-1820 edition of the atlas, published in Edinburgh. 'Northern part' with uncoloured insets of Cabul [Kabul] and Nepaul [Nepal]. Princely states with hand-colouring according to indexes. Size: (size of each sheet, including margins) - approx. 67.2cm x 53.7cm and 68.5cm x 53.5cm.

Very Good condition. Some light offsetting to both sheets. Some age-toning along central fold of 'Northern part' as well as closed split to central fold at foot. Please ask if you require a more detailed condition report, and view gallery images closely.
