VINTAGE CHINESE EXPORT REPUBLIC OF CHINA PORCELAIN ELEPHANT JOSS STICK

This piece is beautifully hand painted. Note the design also covers the underside of the belly.

This is a heavy piece that weighs 3 lbs 7 oz

Excellent vintage condition with no chips cracks or repairs.

There is some crazing on the figural faces on the sides of elephant and also on the bottom portion of the ornamental blanket that hangs down the elephants side as shown in photos. There may be other slight crazing that I missed. Please view all photos.

There is a sticker on bottom foot that I believe says PEOPLES REBUBLIC OF CHINA. Please refer to photos. These stickers were used starting in the 1970's
