The colors in this painting are positively illuminating! The contrasts of lights and darks make the image leap off the page. The ballerina is posed on stage, costumed in tutu, leotard, head piece, and point shoes and looks to be lighted by a stage spotlight.

The artwork has a substantial almost double style frame where the mat is a piece of canvas which itself has been framed. The outer frame is painted creamy white with a pink border. It is deep and has nice bevels to it.

The painting is in excellent condition for its age showing almost no signs of wear. The frame is also in good condition with a few marks on the fabric part which I suspect you can clean up.

The entire piece Measures Approximately 16.5” Tall x 13.5” Wide.
