VERY RARE 1860 CAMPAIGN FERROTYPE - TINTYPE TOKEN - EDWARD EVERETT - JOHN BELL

Up for auction is an original and rare 1860 FERROTYPE - EDWARD EVERETT and JOHN BELL . It measures approximately 2 1/2 cm (25 mm ) . The ferrotypes are clear but there is a slight flaw of flaking near the head of the John BELL but doesn’t affect his image . The images of EDWARD EVERETT and JOHN BELL exhibit razor focus with good contrast and rich warm tonality. The brass frame has its original gold gilt surface and the rim has a hole at the top edge for suspension from a ribbon badge.The brass frame is in good condition.

This rare and beautiful 1860 EDWARD EVERETT - JOHN BELL Presidential Campaign Ferrotype in original condition would make a fantastic addition to a collector.
