Author: Made by 'M. Emm. Le Maout', Docteur en Medicine. Jean-Emmanuel-Marie Le Maout (1799-1877) was a French naturalist. In 1842, Le Maout qualified as a physician at the University of Paris, where he became a demonstrator of natural sciences in the Faculty of Medicine. Later he gave private lessons in literature and natural history.

Subject: Antique print, titled: 'Le Calopsitte Guy sur un Chorisema vaium.' - The cockatiel (Nymphicus hollandicus), also weiro bird, or quarrion on a tree with ilex and violets.
Condition: Very good, given age. Some small stains. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
