Victorian Gentleman's original, large and long Antique solid steel fancy equestrian horse snaffle bit link pocket watch chain / Albert with original 'dumbbell' T bar and dog clip.

C ~1850's (could certainly be earlier).

Extremely rare to find one complete with all its original fittings.

(Similar to the pocket watch chain I supplied to 'Peaky Blinders').

(Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was very difficult to photograph).

Measures; 43cm / 16 3/4" length and weighs a heavy 36.7 grams.

Steel traditional curb links (measure 5mm width) which are all adorned to both sides with an attractive engine turned design.

To centre is an unusual and highly detailed large equestrian horse snaffle bit (jointed, loose ring) which measures 9.5cm length.

Robust original steel dog clip to one end (operates correctly) and is an early one with the integral steel 'tongue' and chunky original 'dumbbell' T bar to the other end which measures 3.5cm length.

Excellent condition with no damage and just a tiny bit of very light overall patina / fine little surface scratches commensurate with age.

Will arrive in a new presentation box as shown and be very securely and safely packed.

Please view my feedback as guarantee of my integrity.
