Obscure and increasingly rare edition, created for use in English primary schools. Heritage of Literature Series, B88. Moderate scuffing, wear, and bumping to boards, corners, and edges with soiling, fading, and staining. Soiling and foxing to fore edge of text block. Internally clean and unmarked. Remains of a sticker affixed to upper portion of first free end paper. Slight split to front internal hinge, still tight and secure. A few spots of foxing to last free end paper. Glue down maps (Thror’s at front and Wilderland at rear) both bright and clean. A good copy of a quite rare volume.
