4. silk lining, two splits, and wear on the edge, see photo
5. holes in side are original, possible a thimble basket was tied on the inside
6. very small chip on one side of lid, see photo
7. finger laps all strong
8. copper tacks, typical of Shaker work
9. was does not show any wear
10. needle case was never used
11. pin cushion shows light wear, also show signs of having been attached to the side
I have had these boxes with items tied onto the box on the inside, very frequently the ribbon ties wear out
