A Messerschmitt The 1:175 scale Me 109 was the first Busch model to be presented at the International Toy Fair in Nuremberg in 1958. The aircraft model range was quickly expanded. Unfortunately, the production molds were sold abroad in the mid-1960s because they wanted to concentrate on accessories for model railways. These molds were later destroyed in a major fire, so that post-production is no longer possible. Busch aircraft models from the 50s and 60s are real rarities today and very difficult to find.

On the occasion of the anniversary "50 years of Busch models" it was decided to relaunch the first Busch product, the Messerschmitt Me 109. However, a "replica" of the model from that time was not manufactured, but the production tools were completely redeveloped with today's modern possibilities. The result is a detailed model on a scale of 1:87, which is made in different variants for collecting. It's clear that we're celebrating our 60th birthday. anniversary to bring this beautiful memento back to life. The packaging of the first Busch product is of course made in retro style and shows an image of the former model.
