The fuselage is cast off an original ILM pyro fuselage. The engines wings etc. are scratch built by me using all the original kit parts ILM used.

This is the closest you can get to an original ILM X wing.

I am the official model maker for FOR THE LOVE OF THE FORCE STAR WARS FAN CONVENTION I was commissioned to make all the models for the convention.

This model come with a display base see pics. The model is rear mounted just like the ILM filming models so it looks like it is flying.

It has been painted to a studio standard to represent Red 2 Wedge

The model has been hand painted and weathered to emulate the original ILM studio models and is a very close representation to the original style of models.

It has layers of dirt grime and dings and scrapes all over the body, and engines just like the original model has.

This is the best chance to buy an  Studio  Scale 1/24 model at a fraction of the cost of the Master Replicas/ Icons X Wing.....(if you can find one they are very very expensive!)

The laser canons are hand made from tubing and cast resin end pieces. They will be removed for postage and push fit onto the model.

They push fit onto the fuselage with steel pins. The wings will be removed for postage. You can attach them when you receive the model.
