  1. Focal Length and Aperture: The lens has a fixed focal length of 24mm, making it a wide-angle lens that is suitable for capturing expansive scenes or emphasizing a sense of space. The maximum aperture of f/1.8 allows for excellent low-light performance and shallow depth of field effects.

  2. Lens Mount: The lens is available in various mounts, including Canon EF, Nikon F, Sigma SA, and Sony E. It can be used with both DSLR and mirrorless cameras, depending on the mount. This unit has a Nikon AF D lens mount.

  3. Macro Capability: The lens features a macro functionality, allowing you to focus on subjects at close distances and capture details with a magnification ratio of 1:2.7. This makes it suitable for capturing small subjects like flowers, insects, or other close-up shots.

  4. Optical Design: The lens incorporates a high-quality optical design with 15 elements in 11 groups, including one Special Low Dispersion (SLD) element and two aspherical elements. This design aims to minimize various aberrations, distortions, and color fringing, resulting in improved image quality and sharpness.

  5. Autofocus and Manual Focus: The lens supports both autofocus (AF) and manual focus (MF) modes. It includes an AF/MF switch on the lens barrel for easy switching between the two modes. Additionally, it features a focus distance scale and a focus ring for precise manual focusing.

  6. Other Features: The lens has a minimum focusing distance of approximately 18.5 cm (7.3 inches), which is beneficial for close-up photography. It has a nine-blade rounded diaphragm, which helps to produce smooth and pleasing bokeh (background blur). The lens also has a Super Multi-Layer Coating to reduce lens flare and ghosting, improving contrast and color accuracy.

Although the box has been opened, the lens itself is in perfect new condition with no signs of wear or usage. It is ready to deliver exceptional wide-angle shots and macro capabilities for your photography needs.
