Lovely pair (2)  embroidered white linen shams. Theses shams are so beautiful!  Lovely quality linen with so much hand needlework!    Lovely fine crisp cotton backs with button closure. Beautifully detailed  flange with hand bobbin lace. PLEASE see lace condition below.

Dating from 1910-20's or so.

Condition: Each sham has one notable hole in the lace trim see last photo. You could mend or just embrace the them as you really don't notice when they are on a form , for me adds the the antique charm!  Just take when washing I recommend hand or lingerie bag. 

That said the price reflects damage. 

Otherwise just lovely No staining! Freshly washed and ready to use.

I do my best to accurately describe condition and point out major flaws, but condition is seldom perfect as one would expect from a 100 year old textile. Small marks and flaws should be expected. The timeworn look and signs of their unique history is part of what makes them so charming and special!
