A glamorous vintage 1970s swimsuit by Cole of California in a luscious deep red swimsuit adorned with gold chains. (The color is prettier than the photos)
The suit has slimming princess seams styling on both the front and the back. Beautiful lace-look bra form inside the suit which has retained its whiteness and shape. It will give you a marvelous shape as itis not a soft bra but one that will give you curves. Attached to the bra form is wonderful stretchy elastic as one one find in a light girdle which will not only smooth your figure but pull in your stomach as well. Attached to that is a pair of panties with a liner in the crotch.
The shoulder straps have 2 button holes for adjustment. There is stretch to the red suit some fabric similar to lycra or spandex. The criss-cross chains on the front of the suit going through grommets is what just makes this suit so sexy and elegant. There is also slits under the chains as the chains going through the grommets is what is holding that portion of the suit together. Vintage pinked edge on crotch liner. The Cole of California tag is identical to one on the Vintage Fashion Guild website for 1970 and my thanks to them.

Size: No size tag. The suit is for a smaller person. Probably for a size 6 - maybe 8.

Condition: Very good - the grommets have darkened but if you really wanted to, I am sure an alteration person could put in new ones. Tiny opening on the back of the curve of the swimsuit which can be fixed by pulling together with a couple of stitches.
