Card Condition

I try to follow Beckett's Guide in putting a grade on a card

Below is the scale that I use:

Near Mint:  (NM) Centering of 70/30 to 60/40.  In addition, one of the following minor flaws is allowed: A slight touch of wear on two or three corners, slightly rough edges, minor print spots, color or focus imperfections.

Excellent- Mint:  (EX-MT) Centering no worse than 80/20. No more than two of the following flaws are allowed: two or three fuzzy corners, slightly rough edges, very minor border discoloration, minor print spots, color or focus imperfections.

Excellent:  (EX) Centering no worse than 80/20 with four fuzzy corners.  May also have rough edges, minor border discoloration and minor print spots, color or focus imperfections.

Very Good: (VG) Handled, but not abused.  Slightly rounded corners with slight layering, slight notching on edges, moderate border discoloration, some gloss lost from the surface but no scuffling.  May have hairline crease.

Good (G), Fair (F), Poor (P)  Well-worn or abused.  Badly rounded and layered corners, scuffing, no original gloss, major border discoloration and serious creases.

Ebay Standard Envelope for Trading Cards for Cards $20 or less

Shipping for 1 - 25 Cards is $4.00

 26 - 75 Cards  = $4.50,

75  - 200  Cards = $8.50,

 201 - 2,200 Cards = $15.00

2,201 - 3,500 Cards=  $20.00

I will combine purchases for shipping purposes.

Because I sell singles, sets and large lots of cards, Ebay can't calculate my shipping charges inside a shopping cart.

2 Options:

1. Purchase the cards outside of the cart but do not pay for them. I can then send you an invoice with the correct shipping charge.

2. Purchase the cards in the cart, pay the multiple shipping charges and I will refund you the excess. Usually I can send the refund in a couple of hours but it may take longer if I'm out.  $95 is the record refund I have issued.
Either one works for me.

Free Shipping or Cost of Shipping is included in the selling price.

Everybody loves free shipping.  But like lunch, there is no free shipping, someone has to pay the U. S. Postal Service.  I could offer free shipping by raising the cost of my cards to include the cost of shipping.  If you bought one item from me there would not be any difference in your cost.  But if you bought a second item you would be paying a second shipping charge that I could just put in my pocket.  I would rather have us agree on a price for the cards that you are interested in purchasing and then paying the appropriate shipping charge based on the number of cards that you have purchased.

Shipping from Alaska is expensive.  The rest of the states (lower 48) have zones 1 - 8, but Alaska has its very own shipping rates and they are high.  A package weighing 1 lb. and 1 oz. costs $15.20 to mail anywhere in the United States, and I have to supply the box.  I have chosen to use flat rate boxes as a way to lower our shipping costs.  On card orders of 76 - 200 cards I use a small flat rate box.  On orders of 201 - 2,200 a medium flat rate box is used and 2,201 - 3,500 a large flat rate box.  My shipping rates reflect my cost to get your cards delivered to you.
