Sweet antique suitcase or Possibly a Briefcase. Hardside seems to be made of a thick cardboard composite with a stain and varnish finish.  Hardware on corner brackets is a brass tone metal. Lock and latches and key are all stamped with the Corbin cabinet lock insignia. I pulled the key from my collection and it fits in the keyhole but the top needs to be  set "just so" for the mechanism to catch.  The latches work great and the leather handle is Very thick and in very very good condition for its age! The inside has the classic musty smell , but it's not too bad! Lined with a cotton cream Pinstripe fabric which is in ok condition.

Measurements are approximately:

16.5 inches wide

12 inches tall( 16 with handle)

6.5 inches deep

Rare  smaller size in very good shape.
