Description: These scarse detailed maps of Dutch Towns originate from the 'Gemeente-atlas' of Jacob Kuyper. This atlas of the Netherlands was published from 1865-1870 and included all towns in all the Dutch provinces. These maps are also known as a Kuyperkaart or Kuyperkaartjes.
Publisher/Cartographer: Jacob Kuyper. Kuyper was one of the most important of the Dutch atlas editors of the second half of the 19th century. He is particularly known for the "Gemeente Atlas", with 1210 plans of all the towns and villages in the Netherlands.

Subject: Antique print, titled: 'Provincie Overijssel: Gemeente Weerselo' - This town plan shows Weerselo in the Dutch province Overijssel. It also shows the nearby towns of Oldenzaal, Volthe, Rossum, Lemselo, Gammelke, Deurningen, Hasselo and Het Loo.
Condition: Very good, given age. Remains of glue on rear side from previous attachment, not affecting image. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
