Today we are pleased to offer this well preserved classic volume on adventures in Australia by Rolf Boldrewood!
A great find from a local Massachusetts estate!

Publisher decorative green cloth binding is in good shape overall, showing just light soiling and rubbing to the thin boards and spine, some bubbling underneath the cloth, general wear around the extremities, and a bit of soiling and spotting to the page edges. Gilt title lettering to the spine displays nicely from the shelf. A well preserved antique volume!
Internally this volume is in great shape as well. Both boards and all page groupings are firmly attached to the binding, though there is a bit of light cracking to the front hinge. It appears that the previous owner’s signature, written in pencil, was erased at one point but remnants remain visible. Contemporary bookseller stamp out of Montreal, Canada visible on front pastedown endpaper. Otherwise clean with no other markings to note.
The text block itself is in very good condition throughout. Pages show light toning from age, as well as a trivial amount of light foxing scattered throughout, but overall pages are very clean and free from rips, tears, writing and markings. Perfectly readable throughout! A very well preserved text block!
