Designed by Ib Koford Larsen for their upmarket ‘Danish Range’ produced by G-Plan in the early 1960’s. This model was made available in 1965. This rare Model 4060 sideboard is made from Teak with beautiful Rosewood split handles. The grain on the teak is incredible. The interior is formed of a right hand central shelved cupboard with adjustable shelves. The left hand side has a cupboard with a removable cocktail tray, a cutlery drawer lined with grey baize and 2 further linen drawers. It’s unusual for it’s height and sits on an elegant frame with Afromosia curved supports and legs (the legs are removable for transport). The attribution stamp is on the inside bottom drawer. It’s in excellent vintage condition, with the odd scratch, marks and signs of wear you would expect with the age but nothing of significance. All photographed. We regrettably do not want to sell it, but it need the space quickly, hence the competitive price tag!
