Presenting a stunning New Zealand studio art glass goblet masterfully hand crafted and signed by Venus Hot Glass.
This exquisite example features a vibrant cobalt blue glass bowl decorated with vibrant murrine canes randomly embedded within. A tall twisted clear clear glass stem beautifully elevates the vibrantly coloured bowl while adding a playful element to the design. A wide and stable clear glass foot finished with tooled ribbing perfectly completes this wonderfully whimsical work of art.
SIZE: This impressive piece stands approx 290mms tall and measures approx 90mms in width.
CONDITION: This exquisite piece is presented in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. This piece has been lovingly treasured as a display item and presents spectacularly.
MARKS: This piece is beautifully signed and dated to the base with an engraved "Venus 2002 NZ" mark.
THE MAKERS: Venus Hot Glass is a small Christchurch based glass studio established in 1997 and run by Ian Walters and Tokiko Tatemoto. Their work has been widely collected and features in important International art glass collections.
