This sleek little vase is instantly recognizable as French Art Deco ceramic art. This bud vase is signed, but I have not been
to identify the workshop or artist. It is most reminiscent of the work of Gilbert Metenier, particularly the fine white clay base. The 

glaze is unmistakably French in how it combines a soft matte blue with a golden beige drip. I would welcome the assistance of knowledgeable collectors of French ceramics collectors in the identification

of this piece. The tapering form measures about 2.5 inches at the base, tapering to just a little more than 0.5 inches at the mouth.This piece is in excellent original condition, with no flaws noted. Please consult the photos for more details on both glaze treatment and condition.
