Our Singer sewing machine consultant worked for Singer for YEARS. He verified that this is a heavy duty machine, good for sewing denim, leather, etc and also for lightweight dressmaking materials.
You can use this machine in a treadle table, or add a motor and foot pedal and use it as an electric machine. The motors and pedal sets are inexpensive online and easy to install with one screw and a belt. Let us know if you need help finding one online.
We are including a photo copy of the manual for the Singer 66 machine
This set includes the installed needle and bobbin, straight stitch presser foot and four more Singer attachments as well as an antique oil can (with some oil inside, so we will send it in its own plastic ziploc bag). :)
You can purchase more attachments online - this machine uses the "back clamp" or "rear mount" attachments
You're going to love her!
