This is a lovely example of an English silver plated cocktail shaker, slightly more unusual in shape with the flattened screw-top rather than the usual pull-off cap.

Another unusual feature is the little instrument inside the lid leading to a hole in the lid allowing a vacuum to be avoided when taking the whole top off. Inside the lid is also an ice-breaker.

Made by a top-notch Sheffield silversmith, Walker and Hall. Being Walker and Hall we are able to date it accurately with the date letter K which was for the year 1928, making this 90 years old this year.

Excellent condition measuring 7" tall with a maximum diameter measuring 3 1/2".
