Dieses Raumschiff wurde vom Kommandanten Poe Dameron geflogen, der das Schwarze Geschwader des Widerstands gründete. Der Name X-Flügler kommt von der Form der S-Tragflächen, wenn sie in Angriffsposition ausgefahren sind.

X-Flügel-Sternjäger sind mit vier Laserkanonen und Protonentorpedos bewaffnet, was sie zu einem vielseitigen und bemerkenswert tödlichen Angriffsschiff für einen Piloten macht. 

Poe Damerons Schwarz Eins und der T-70 X-Flügler des Widerstands feierten 2015 in Das Erwachen der Macht ihr Debüt.  

Bei der Überarbeitung des T-65-Jägers aus der ursprünglichen Trilogie griffen die Designer auf den allerersten Entwurf des X-Flüglers von Ralph McQuarrie aus dem Jahr 1976 zurück, insbesondere auf die Idee der geteilten Triebwerke.

This spaceship was flown by Commander Poe Dameron, who founded the Black Squadron of the Resistance. The name X-wing comes from the shape of the S-wings when they are extended in attack position.

X-wing starfighters are armed with four laser cannons and proton torpedoes, making them a versatile and remarkably deadly attack ship for a pilot. 

Poe Dameron's Black One and the Resistance's T-70 X-wing made their debut in The Force Awakens in 2015.  

In reworking the T-65 fighter from the original trilogy, the designers drew on the very first design of Ralph McQuarrie's X-wing from 1976, in particular the idea of split engines.
