This is a vintage Aboriginal ceramic brooch on its original paper, which states it to be crafted by the craft people of the Marribank Aboriginal Corporation. I have no idea of its age or how it was acquired but is at least vintage.
The brooch was found in a job lot of vintage jewellery at a house clearance auction. Its been perfectly preserved - the colour is a rich deep brown with a mild red undertone. I've shown the back of the paper to show the brooch tag. The price reflects the perfect rich condition, the original paperwork its attached to and how unique it is.
