Awesome old tribal hinged bracelet! This looks to be made of a zinc (brass) alloy, although we are not sure of the exact composition. The decorative coin-like pieces were sand casted, while the metal pieces that attach them to the cuff look to be rolled. The unevenness of the cuff part also speaks to the hand-made nature of this bracelet. The hinges are obviously hand-formed as well. This is a very unique piece! We are not sure where it is from - we have seen Rajasthani pieces that look similar to this, but this is just a guess.

This is a very heavy bracelet, weighing in at a hefty 133g (4.7oz). It's in good condition overall considering its probable age, although "white rust" tarnish shows in areas. This could be cleaned further with a stiff brush if desired.
