For sale a SP2D pentode RF/IF battery valve / vacuum tube by Tungsram, new old stock in original Tungsram box. Recently fully tested and working at 100% of nominal new emission. In pristine, clean condition for age with all original markings present and readable, gold metallising in excellent condition for age. 

The SP2D is a straight RF amplifier device dating from the 2 volt accumulator powered period of the 1930s. It is on a standard British B7 7 pin base with grid top cap. These valves were used in many tabletop radio designs, where they form were used in the front end RF amplifier stage or in an IF stage.

A sensible price for this guaranteed, fully working, tested example of an interesting old valve/tube still in its original packaging from the 1930s / 40s. Of particular interest to vintage portable radio set restorers, experimenters and collectors alike! This old valve / tube could make somebody's old wartime vintage radio very happy!

Believe it or not, some evil people have tried to send us back their dud tubes to try and get a full refund for a perfectly good tube we have just sold them! So, refund is a genuine offer, but at our discretion that we have been sent back what we actually sold you in the first place and that you haven't destroyed it through misuse! All returns under guarantee are limited to within 21 days of shipping.
