Four numbered woodblock prints with added hand colour each 27.6 x 40.6 cms, tipped onto original backing sheets 34.3 x 48.6 cms in the original decorated stamped striped folder with title label (a little scuffed and worn, small tide-mark on an inside fold) scattered foxing affecting two of the prints (more pronounced on one), but the whole in very good condition.

Suite of four numbered costume prints, after the Meiji-era artist Kin-U Takeshita captioned on the label:

1. Gensan (New Year's Day)
Costume in the 18th Century
2. Mushiboshi (Airing)
Costume in the 17th Century
3. Momijigari (Maple-viewing)
Costume in 8-12th Century
4. Keibu (Race Meeting)
Costume in 12-15th Century
