AMAZING - we have NEVER seen one like it! Appears to be pressed or molded Bakelite - very fine details, very deep embossing or molding or whatever process it was that made this card - we will not sell cheaply, would rather keep for our private collection of extra special cards, so if making an offer, please make a fair one!
VERY GOOD condition - hand written gold gilt message on front says "To wish you a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year from E Downey to the Rev Father Walsh" - UNUSED on the back, although it may originally have been stuck to paper as you can see small remains of paper on the bakelite - REALLY FABULOUS item - see scans of both sides.
If you are collecting antique or vintage postcards for their future substantial increase in value, then beware of reproductions as only GENUINE ORIGINAL ones like ours will increase in value!
