Antique Illinois Watch Co. Sangamo 23 Jewel, 16 Size Gold Filled Double Roller Pocket Watch

• Circa: 1907
• Case: 50mm (16 size) Yellow Gold Filled with beautiful carving, knurling and an open cartouche. Case made by B & B Royal and signed: Warranted B & B Royal 20 Years. Case is in excellent condition with no brass showing through.
• Bezel: Smooth screw off yellow gold filled. Bezel screws off in order to pull out the lever to set the hands.
• Movement: American-made hand-wind mechanical, 23 ruby jewel, lever set, Sangamo signed, double roller. Movement is adjusted to temperature, 6 positions and isochronism.
• movement signed: Sangamo, Illinois Watch Co. and Springfield.
• Dial: Gorgeous original white porcelain dial with black Gothic style Arabic numeral hour markers and blued hands. The dial has two small cracks in the porcelain. One at the 10 and one at the 2.
• Crystal: Plexi with some light scratches.
• Movement Serial # 2017230, Case Serial # 6367832.
• Box and papers: Includes a cloth pouch.
• Condition: Excellent antique, runs well and keeps good time.
